EMEA tablet shipments fall 8.2% in Q3 despite healthy commercial segment

The number of tablets sold in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) market in the third quarter fell by 8.2 percent year-on-year to 10.9 million units, according to the latest study from IDC. Shipments in the previous quarter had declined almost 12 percent. Looking ahead, IDC expects the market to decline 10.2 percent in both the fourth quarter and full year.
