Emergency Telecoms Cluster needs USD 2.4 mln for humanitarian agencies in Libya

A global network of organisations working to provide shared communications services in emergencies requires USD 2.4 million to provide lifesaving services to humanitarian agencies in Libya, CAJ News reported.  The Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) requires the funds for provision of internet connectivity, an ICT helpdesk, and to facilitate emergency communications that are minimum operating security standards (MOSS)-compliant.
