Emilia-Romagna approves 2025 Digital Agenda

Wednesday 10 February 2016 | 15:30 CET | News
The budget committee of the northern Italian region of Emilia-Romagna has approved its ambitious Digital Agenda, which aims for a "100 percent digital" region by 2025, reports tech website Cor.com. The region last year announced that it would use a further EUR 100 million in EC structural funds to further boost its digital ecosystem, with in-house company Lepida looking to expand the broadband network to 100 percent of the population and bring high-speed broadband services to 85 percent of the region and all schools and town halls.
