Enel denies reports of Enel Open Fiber CEO exit

Enel has issued a statement denying press reports of the imminent exit of Tommaso Pompei, CEO of the Italian utility's Enel Open Fiber (EOF) wholesale broadband unit. "Enel denies the news published today by a newspaper about the exit from the Group of Tommaso Pompei, CEO of Enel Open Fiber," said Enel in reply to a report by Italian daily Il Fatto Quotidiano, adding that it retained "full confidence in the manager and appreciation for his work and continuity in the future."
