Enisa publishes guidelines to assess impact of incidents

Wednesday 9 March 2016 | 11:16 CET | News
The EU's cyber security agency Enisa has published a study that aims to provide guidelines to national regulatory authorities (NRAs) and telecommunications providers on how to measure the impact of security incidents affecting electronic communication services. The report provides a useful list of common indicators for measuring the impact of incidents in a number of areas, including those related to geographic area, economic impact and cyberattacks. Enisa said measuring the impact of incidents has become a necessity due to legal and business requirements.
