Entel adds at least 100,000 new mobile users per month

According to the manager for business customers at Entel, Emilio Evia, the Bolivian operator is adding a total of 100,000 new mobile phone users each month, between lines retrieved and newly created. Evia told FM Bolivia that this trend makes the operator the market leader by number of lines, currently at over 4 million. Entel general manager Oscar Coca announced an investment of USD 100 million during 2013 to expand mobile coverage and internet access. In this regard, he said that 1,000 base stations will be installed this year and another 1,500 units in 2014.
