Entel and Claro fined PEN 376,000 for Peru service breaches

Peruvian telecommunications services regulator Osiptel has fined Entel and America Movil (Claro) a total of PEN 376,250 for breaches of service quality and network neutrality. Claro was fined a total of PEN 197,370 for publishing inaccurate information on its web portal while Claro will have to pay PEN 178,880 for arbitrarily blocking ports in its network from fixed internet access.
