Entel Bolivia launches first FTTH-based convergent plan

Bolivian state-owned operator Entel has officially launched its first quad-play plan incorporating pay-TV, mobile and voice IP plus FTTH-based broadband, reports local daily La Razon, citing CEO Oscar Coca. The package that will cost BOB 239 a month compared to the BOB 387 payable for subscribing to each service separately, said Coca. The plan will be available from 02 May in all of the company's stores throughout the country, with Entel ready to immediately connect up to 180,000 subscribers with fibre access to the service.
