Chilean operator Entel is set to invest a further USD 100 million to install a further 737 LTE base stations throughout the country, reports Telesemana, citing the company's regulatory and corporate affairs director Manuel Araya. Entel has already completed the commitment to install some 660 4G base stations under the terms of last year's 700 MHz licence award and is now accelerating the rollout to meet data demands that have more than doubled over the past year, said Araya.
