Entel establishes contact with Tupac Katari satellite

Bolivian operator Entel has achieved the first successful contact with the recently launched telecommunications satellite Tupac Katari (TKSAT-1), according to the Bolivian Information Agency (ABI). Entel plans to start its satellite TV service in 2014, using Tupac Katari capacity. After a test period of about three months, the Tupac Katari satellite should officially enter service, from March 2014.
