Entel, Facebook launch Internet.org (Free Basics) in Peru

Peruvian operator Entel has reached an agreement with Facebook to launch the Internet.org platform, now called Free Basics, in the South American country. The partners said the Free Basics app and portal will give Peruvian users access to select websites such as Facebook, Messenger, Bing, Wikipedia, Accuweather, 24Symbols, UN Women, 1doc3, Bing, OLX and Ask.com, among others.
