Entel seeks to issue bonds for up to USD 306 mln

Chilean telecoms operator Entel expects to issue a bond program for up to USD 306 million, El Financiero reports. The operator confirmed that the proceeds of the bond program will be used to refinance debts. Entel ended the first quarter of the year, with a total customer base of 11.7 million subscribers, up 16 percent compared to the year-ago period. The number of mobile customers reached 10.2 million at end-Q1, up 1 percent year-on-year.
