Entropic to create cable platform with Peking University

Entropic entered into a strategic collaboration with Peking University to create a Hinoc (High Performance Network Over Coax) 2.0 platform to serve China's expanding broadband access market which requires higher-speed broadband to support advanced triple-play and multi-screen services. The company also announced that Sichuan Telecom, a subsidiary of Chinese ISP China Telecom, is deploying a new Entropic-based MoCA (Multimedia over Coax Alliance) Ethernet-to Coax Adapter (ECA) to distribute IPTV services. At the same time, it announced the deployment of its latest c.Link Broadband
