E.ON sets up subsidiary to build 4G, 5G mobile masts on pylons and other assets

German energy provider E.ON has set up a new subsidiary, E.ON TowerCo, to convert electrical power pylons across Germany into radio mast for the 4G and 5G mobile network. E.ON has over 100,000 high and medium voltage masts that can also be used as radio masts. E.ON plans to use its rooftops, its own properties and land to build a new network, too.
