Epix allows movies downloads to mobile devices

Streaming content provider Epix will let subscribers download hit movies directly to their mobile devices for viewing them later on. The option, which mimics actions of Google Play Movies and iTunes, is available regardless of whether the end-users' devices are connected to the internet or not. The offline viewing is possible directly from its mobile apps, available across Kindle Fire and all Apple and Android mobile devices and tablets including iPads, iPhones, and Samsung and Nexus devices. The new offering will be available in September to all Epix subscribers, launching with a marketing
