Equinix's Lisbon data centre sets new record

Equinix Portugal's Lisbon data centre has achieved a new record, with a total of 5,000 interconnected points, hosting more than 40 network service providers and providing direct connection to more than 15 subsea cable systems, reports TeK. From Lisbon, Equinix provides direct access to major submarine cables, including WACS (West African Cabling System), ACE (European Coastal Africa), Tata Global Network and Main One systems, among others, that enable fast, direct and secure digital connections between Europe, America and Africa.
