Equitel eyes 5 mln subscribers by June

Equity Group aims to sign up about 5 million subscribers to its telecom network by the end of June 2015, The Star reported. CEO James Mwangi said some 450,000 customers have already been recruited to the Equitel network using primary SIMs available at in the lender's bank branches, pending the launch of its thin SIM technology.
