Equitel to loan subscribers money to buy smartphones

Equity Bank's MVNO Equitel is offering its clients loans to buy smartphones provided they use the Equitel mobile service. The bank unveiled the loans for smartphones promotion to enable customers to buy dual-SIM handsets. The loans are repayable within a year. Equity has partnered with Samsung and Alcatel for the offer. The phones are available in selected Equity Bank branches.
