ER-Telecom to invest RUB 7.6 bln in broadband network upgrade

Russian operator ER-Telecom has launched a project on the upgrade of its fibre-optic broadband network, reports Comnews.ru. The operator aims to make 1 Gbps broadband available on 60 percent of its network in 2020-2022. The investment will amount to RUB 7.6 billion. Around 11 million households will be able to use upgraded services, and reliability of the network will improve.
