Ericsson and Du partner with Pure Harvest Smart Farms to apply 5G

Ericsson has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UAE operator Du and Pure Harvest Smart Farms to deploy 5G smart farming methods at agricultural sites in Al Ain. They will use sensors, drone and robotics to increase the efficiency of farm processes. The aim is to support the UAE Sustainability Agenda for access to adequate and affordable food, sustainable economic growth, healthy ecosystems and increased resource efficiency.
