Ericsson becomes African Telecoms Union associate member

Ericsson has become an associate member of the African Telecommunications Union (ATU) and has signed a partnership agreement with the union to continue promoting ICT development across Africa. Ericsson said it is well positioned to provide leadership in connecting Africa by mobilising the human, financial, and technical resources required. The partnership also aims to support the ATU in driving regulatory reform that will help facilitate telecommunications development, and subsequent social and economic growth.
