Ericsson becomes Orange managed services reference provider

Orange has selected Ericsson as its reference provider of managed services. The contract covers Spain, Belgium, Romania, Slovakia and Moldova, supporting more than 30 million customers. Under the five-year agreement, Ericsson will provide a fully managed end-to-end operations service that will include network operations, performance, optimisation, expansion and field support, and maintenance, as well as a spare parts management service for Orange's fixed-line access, 2G, 3G, and 4G access. Ericsson said it will enable Orange to offer more innovative services.
