Ericsson brings 3G, LTE to all of Sofia's subway lines

Ericsson finished implementing a project that brings 3G and LTE coverage to customers of Mtel, Vivacom and Telenor Bulgaria in all the stations and lines in Sofia's subway. Passengers can talk and surf the web whether they are on station or in a railcar while running in tunnels. An antenna system was used for stations and radiating cables were used in tunnels. Three sections were added to the network, namely Mladost 1 – Sofia Airport, Mladost 1 – Business Park Sofia, and James Bourchier – Vitosha, B.
