Ericsson calls for release of 3.5 GHz band in Brazil

Ericsson has called on the release of the 3.5 GHz spectrum in Brazil, reports Teletime. Speaking during the MWC 2018 in Barcelona, the president of Ericsson in Brazil, Eduardo Ricotta, said that the company will not comment on a potential auction for the remaining 700 MHz band, which could drain resources from network investments, saying that this is a subject of the operators.
