Ericsson joins EU-backed sustainable mining research project

Ericsson said it joined the EU-funded Next-Generation Carbon-Neutral Pilots for Smart Intelligent Mining Systems (Nexgen Sims) project. The three-year initiative aims to develop autonomous, carbon-neutral mining processes, with 5G connectivity playing a significant role.
