Ericsson to explore 5G for smart manufacturing with Comau

Ericsson has partnered with Comau, a specialist in industrial automation products, systems and solutions, to explore the potential of 5G for smart manufacturing. The companies will explore using advanced Internet of Things (IoT) systems for industrial automation and harness existing and future 5G network technologies, IoT platforms, cloud and Big Data solutions, to develop smart manufacturing, maintenance and quality control.
