Ericsson to offer Network Manager as a service

Ericsson launched its Ericsson Network Manager in a "as a service" model. Ericsson Network Manager combines Element Management System, Network Management System and Analytics functions. It manages physical and virtual network functions across multiple radio technologies, core and IP networks and exposes them in a unified manner to operator's existing OSS. Ericsson said offering Network manager as a managed and hosted service will help operators with their transition to SDN, NFV and 5G, while also helping them to reduce costs. There are three options available for operators to adopt Ericsson
