Ericsson, Tokyo City University to develop AI applications for LTE networks

Ericsson Japan and Tokyo City University have signed an agreement to jointly develop new algorithms using artificial intelligence (AI) to upgrade LTE network operations and customer experiences. According to Ericsson, this collaboration seeks to develop new algorithms and techniques, requiring far less data samples while exceeding the results of current AI models. This is designed to automate and minimize human labor-intensive and time-consuming dataset annotation tasks.
