Eritel extends mobile service to rural areas

Eritrea Telecommunications has extended network coverage to rural areas in a bid to provide mobile services across the country. Eritel MD Tesfasilassie Berhane said the mobile firm has also connected the country's Southern Red Sea region with mobile service as part of efforts to promote equitable social services in all corners of the country. Berhane said 16 new towers along with the necessary communication equipment have been installed.
