Ernster, Yapital unveil QR code-based shopping feature

European cross-channel payment platform Yapital has joined forces with Ernster - l'esprit livre, Luxembourg's largest book retailer, to launch a new m-payment feature dubbed "Scan2Order". The feature allows customers to make instant purchases from advertising media such as billboards, newspaper and magazine ads, web banners or product catalogues. The book retailer's customers simply need to open the Yapital app on their smartphones, scan the QR code on the ad space, and have the book delivered directly to their doorstep. According to the companies, customers can even order from shop windows
