Espial, Arris reach video software distribution deal

IPTV software company Espial has announced a software licence and distribution agreement with Arris International to integrate and resell Espial's product portfolio to service providers all over the world. As part of the deal, Espial and Arris will jointly deliver next-generation IP video solutions to new and existing customers. The Espial software-based products and services included in the agreement include its G4 STB Client software and UX, its Media Service Platform Cloud back-office software and the G4 HTML5 UX as integrated with ActiveVideo for legacy set-tops.
