ESPN retains LatAm Champions League rights

Sports network ESPN has announced a deal with UEFA to continue broadcasting the Champions League, Europa League and Super Cup competitions in Spanish-speaking Latin America until 2020/21. Under the terms of the wide-ranging multimedia rights agreement, ESPN will air a total of 71 Champions League matches per season starting in August, including 66 matches from the final play-off round to the quarter-finals broadcast exclusively on the network and pay-TV.
