ESPN+ to broadcast League of Legends competitions starting this summer

ESPN's streaming service ESPN+ entered into a new, multi-year agreement with Riot Games to broadcast League of Legends (LoL) e-sports competitions from mid-June. Coverage will kick off 16 June with the 2018 North American League of Legends Championship Series Summer Split (NA LCS), bringing the largest e-sport in the world to sports fans via the ESPN app and ESPN.com. Two other major championships will be broadcast, the NA LCS Summer Finals in September and the World Championship this fall.
