ETB revenues down 4% in Q3, adds 100,000 fibre clients

Colombian operator Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Bogota (ETB) reported a 4.1 percent year on year fall in revenues to COP 343.1 billion (around USD 94 million) in the third quarter of 2020, attributed to ongoing Covid-19 impact on services and higher costs, offset by rising fibre customers and lower personnel costs. EBITDA fell 14.2 percent year on year to COP 101.2 billion, with a margin of 29.5 percent compared to 37 percent a year earlier, but the company posted a COP 101.8 billion profit, up 3.8 percent year on year. The company's fibre segment now accounts for 32 percent of revenues,
