Etisalat appoints Al Tayer as chairman

UAE operator Etisalat has announced that Obaid Humaid Al Tayer has been appointed as the chairman of the company. Al Tayer will replace Eissa Mohamed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, who submitted his resignation for personal reasons, the company said in a declaration to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
