Etisalat, Emirates Steel, TAQA sign up to government's local technology procurement scheme

The UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has signed three separate memoranda of understanding (MoU) with Etisalat, Emirates Steel and the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) to join the National In-Country Value (ICV) Programme. The three firms will now prioritise local ICV-certified suppliers above other entities bidding for commercial contracts.
