Etisalat, Ericsson sign partnership to advance 5G

Etisalat Group and Ericsson have entered into a strategic partnership to develop 5G, the next generation of mobile technology, WAM, the Emirates News Agency reported. The two companies will exchange knowledge, share pioneering system and tap into the potential of 5G technology, which will help deliver the future Networked Society. The partnership will also tap into the potential of 450 Mbps LTE speed that can be accomplished thanks to License Assisted Access (LAA) technology. LAA will help to improve mobile data speeds and reduce congestion, spearheads the journey to 5G. Last year Etisalat
