Etisalat Group Q1 revenue down 3%, EBITDA margin improves

UAE-based Etisalat Group said its revenues reached AED 12.5 billion for the first three months to 31 March, down 3 percent compared to the same period in 2016. EBITDA fell only 1 percent, to AED 6.4 billion, helping the margin improve by 1 percent points to 51 percent. Net profit after federal royalty payments amounted to AED 2.1 billion and increased year over year by 5 percent.
