Etisalat, Pacific Controls tie up to cut IT carbon emissions

Etisalat Group and UAE-based automation services company Pacific Controls have announced an agreement jointly to offer M2M-based sustainable development applications and support to clients across Etisalat's footprint. This will bring green IT to the Middle East, Africa and Asia covering fifteen countries in total. The partnership utilises ICT to deliver sustainable development, leveraging M2M technology to deliver managed energy services and business intelligence in real time, which helps to reduce a company's carbon footprint.
