Etisalat starts offering cloud OTT service using Synamedia's Infinite platform

UAE operator Etisalat has launched the SwitchTV direct-to-consumer (D2C) service based on Synamedia's Infinite cloud television platform and end-to-end video network portfolio. With Infinite, Etisalat can process, secure, distribute and monetise video to any consumer device. Benefits include the flexibility to offer a choice of SwitchTV subscription packages and different film rental models, with personalised viewing to make it easy to find their favourite productions.
