Etisalat upgrades HSPA network to 42Mbps

Etisalat announced an upgrade on its national HSPA+ network in collaboration with Huawei and Qualcomm, to deliver customers data downlink speeds of up to 42.2 Mbps. The announcement comes less than a year after Etisalat's launch of 21Mbps speed mobile Internet in January. Etisalat offers HSPA+ routers, 3G USB modems and smart device bundles for using the data services.
