ETSI releases first specs for Smart Secure Platform for next-gen Sims

The European Telecommunications Standards Institute announced new technical specifications designed to secure the next generation of Sim cards. These are the first three specifications for the Smart Secure Platform (SSP) developed by the ETSI Technical Committee Smart Card Platform, which also standardised previous generations of Sim security standards.
