EU Court of Justice finds no double jeopardy in historic Slovak Telekom abuse probes

The Court of Justice of the European Union said that after the European Commission (EC) had found that Slovak Telekom had abused a dominant position on the market for certain telecommunications services, it could still be subject to sanctions from Slovak authorities for abuse on the market for other services. The Court of Justice ruled on the matter on 25 February, after the Slovak Supreme Court had referred double jeopardy concerns to the European court.
