EU criticises Serbia over delay in DTT introduction

The head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Vincent Deger, has sent a letter to Serbia's Minister of Trade and Telecommunications, Rasim Ljajic, criticising the delay in the introduction of DTT, for which the country has obtained several million euros from IPA funds. According to local daily Danas, in his letter Deger notes that this process is long overdue, and it is further delayed by the announcement of the auction for the frequency of former national broadcaster TV Avala.
