EU states back Lithuania initiative to form joint cyber response teams

A declaration of intent on development of the Lithuanian-initiated EU Cyber Rapid Response Force teams has been signed at a session of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg. The declaration lays a foundation for a response by an international cyber response force if a major cyber incident strikes in the coming years.
