Euroseek acquired by Worldlight.com

Euroseek (Sweden), search engine which filed for bankruptcy in September 2001, has had its brand, search technology, domain name and traffic acquired by Worldlight.com (Halmstad, Sweden), Internet portal owned by brothers Marcus and Max Andersson. Euroseek was set up in 1996 and became one of the Nordic region's most popular search engines with 80 mil unique visitors/mo. Its Euroseek Access broadband division was sold to Bahnhof Internet (Sweden), broadband operator, in September 2001. Worldlight.com plans to re-launch Euroseek in January 2002.
