Thursday 9 July 2020 | 13:41 CET | News
Spanish operator Euskaltel, owner of the recently-launched Virgin Telco brand, has reached an agreement with banks to replace its EUR 215 million amortising term loan with a bullet loan due in December 2023. In a statement to market securities market regulator CNMV, the company said the original loan had a calendar of repayments of EUR 45 million in 2020, EUR 50 million in 2021, EUR 55 million in 2022 and EUR 65 million in 2023. With the change in structure, Euskaltel said it has eliminated EUR 150 million of debt repayments in the 2020-2022 period.
