Euskaltel, unions reach agreement amid outsourcing plan

Spanish regional cable operator Euskaltel, operating in the Basque Country, and trade unions representatives have reached a preliminary agreement on the working conditions of workers affected by the outsourcing process carried out by the Basque operator, unnamed union sources told EFE. Employees affected by the outsourcing plan will vote for or against this draft agreement on 16 April. Unions estimate that around 140 employees will be affected by Euskaltel's outsourcing plan.
