Tuesday 23 August 2016 | 10:52 CET | News
Mexican satellite operator Satmex, a Eutelsat subsidiary, has been authorised to provide services in Argentina via its Eutelsat 113 West A satellite, reports Telesemana. The satellite was launched as Satmex 6 in May 2006 before being renamed following Eutelsat's 2014 acquisition of Satmex. It operates in the C and Ku bands at 113 degrees west longitude, providing communications services to the Americas, Hawaii and the Caribbean.
