EWE plans to bring broadband to 4,600 more homes

German regional utilities provider EWE has announced plans to bring broadband to 4,600 or so homes this year in Lower Saxony. It plans to connect 33 more street cabinets in Bad Zwischenahn, Cloppenburg, Ganderkesee, Melle and Rotenburg to its fibre optic network. This will provide an internet service at up to 50 Mbps.
